The Plot
It has been five years since the 'death' of Harvey Dent. Gotham has only become worse in it's state of coruption, and the people living there have seen this happen right before their eyes. Bruce Wayne has put all of his efforts into helping Gotham get back on it's feet, but he hasn't had much help. In the last few months, he has taken custody of a teenaged boy, Dick Grayson, who was orphaned when his parents were killed in a Circus murdering.
Meanwhile, in the darkness of the world, the clown of Gotham has been locked up in Gotham, with numerous escapes and run-ins with Batman, he always ends up back in Gotham. This Thanksgiving, however, he plans to make an escape. An escape out into the world of Gotham, and not only is he breaking out, but numerous of Batman's other villains are breaking out with him. How? Doctor Harleen Quinzel.
Commissioner Gordon's daughter, Barbara has just turned thirteen recently, and without her Uncle's knowledge has been escaping into the night, becoming known in the streets. She has befriended the thugs, and thieves of the city, though not as her normal identity but someone else. Someone different.
Also, Selina Kyle has moved into Gotham, and who knows who she'll meet and start trouble with.
It is currently the month of November, 2012, Thanksgiving is getting closer and closer and it's getting colder and colder. Snow has even fallen a bit, not much but an inch or so.

These are the Affiliates that are pending, once they post us on their site they will go into the Affiliates.
This is primarily a literate roleplaying site, but we are not that strict about it. We need two or more paragraphs per post, and if you really need help with that then reflect on their thoughts and movements rather than talking. My characters hardly ever talk, unless spoken to. I usually reflect on their thoughts and feelings more than anything.
Villains are needed the most, but no OCs of characters are allowed.
The main-main heroes, Batman, Bat-girl, and Robin are taken, but if you want to be a member of the JLA or something like that, feel free to ask us if that's okay.
No OCs of heroes or villains are allowed, but if you wish to be a civilian or a police officer, or a detective, or something creative like that go ahead, but be warned if I don't accept your character you're not going to pester me about it.
Respect the admins, and each other, please. Your characters can be buttmunches to each other, but don't be rude outside of the roleplay. We need happiness not wars.
The site IS under construction, please excuse that, and we're doing the roleplays by years. Year seven is the main one, but you are welcome to roleplay from the beginning to the end of Batman's career. But until we get those sections up characters from there are NOT welcome.
No god-moding or powerplaying during fight scenes, unless you discuss what'll happen either via pms or the cbox. I'd prefer neither to be used period, ever.
We have our limits, although we're not uber strict like Neopets. But, if you MUST have a graphic scene of violence or something, mark it as such. Same with language and 'love' scenes, though I'd prefer we'd have none of the latter either.
After we have accepted your character, please post a blurb about them under the Characters boards. State their name, who plays them, whether they are good, bad, or neutral, and a paragraph or so explaining them. Also, you will need so submit a file for each character under the appropriate section.
